David leads IOWEU International and is co-author of Smarter Selling. of Smarter Selling. He has more than 20 years’ experience in sales, consulting, training and business development.
David began his career with Coopers & Lybrand in London, before co-founding TraQs Consulting, a UK-based consulting firm, in 1990. In 1995, he moved to Hong Kong and joined PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where he held positions as Business Development Director, Marketing and Communications Director and, finally, Head of the PricewaterhouseCoopers Leadership Academy. Since 2004 he has been working with leading organisations to help them develop the communication and trust-building skills of their people.
David holds a first degree in Economics and a
master’s degree in Training and Human Resource Management.He is accredited in IoweU™ and Think on Your Feet®.
Based in Hong Kong, David travels extensively, speaking at conferences and in-house seminars, coaching and consulting to senior executives, facilitating strategy meetings and delivering training workshops.
Anthony has worked in Hong Kong and Japan for over 18 years and has conducted training for all levels from senior executive to general staff.
Recent clients include Adidas, British Council, HKEAA, OOCL, Clifford Chance, LVMH, HKEAA, PepsiCo and Triumph.His banking & finance clients include AXA Rosenberg, Bowne of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Securities Institute, Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation, Hypo Real Estate, Meespierson, Merrill Lynch and Standard Chartered.
Consultancy projects have included development and implementation of training curricula (with training needs analysis and Train-the-Trainer), competency framework development and assessment projects, and design and implementation of Performance Appraisal systems.
Before becoming a management consultant specialising in training and development, Anthony held senior positions in education, sales and management in Hong Kong and Japan. Anthony is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Human Resources Management (IHRM), and former chairperson of the Hong Kong Total Quality Forum.
Philip Lai is a seasoned talent management consultant who works with various Fortune 100 companies in the region, including BASF, Bayer, Colgate Palmolive, GE , PingAn Insurance, Tetrapak, Wacker, Walt Disney, etc.
He has held senior management positions in a number of world-class organizations (Digital Equipment Corp., Oracle Corp. and General Electric Company) in the capacity of HR Management, Organization Development and Talent Management. His last corporate position was with Personnel Decisions International (PDI), a premium leadership development consultancy as Senior Consultant in PDI’s Shanghai Office.
Philip is a dynamic facilitator / trainer. and is certified in MBTI, DisC, and IOWEU. He has been voted one of the “Top Ten HR Consultants in China” and is a regular public speaker.
Philip holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. He also has a post-graduate certificate in management.
Perry is a highly experienced coach and facilitator. He began his career with the Xerox Corporation based in the United States.He was then recruited by DHL Worldwide Express to return to Hong Kong to set up their Sales Organization in the 1980’s.
For 20 years, Perry has worked in various Country, Regional and Global Roles in the areas of Sales and Marketing for DHL and posted to Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, and China.Perry’s last position was Regional Director of Sales for Asia and the member of the Global Sales Steering Committee.Aside for having full P/L responsibility, Perry set up the DHL Asia Sales Academy which was adopted globally as the DHL Sales Centre of Excellence.
Perry’s primary industry expertise is with Financial and Hi-Tech Industry clients.
Matthew started his learning and development career in 1990 as a Science Teacher in Hong Kong. After five years in this formal teaching environment, he moved to the business sector as an education book publisher and then into development of computerised teaching aids. Always interested in how people think and learn, Matthew entered the consultancy field doing Behaviour Profiling work across many industries and delivering experiential training. Most of the training programs that Matthew delivers tends to be performance driven, such as Sales Training, Negotiation Skills and Presentation Skills training. However, Matthew is particularly interested in differentiating between the skills required for success, as opposed to the will to succeed.
